"Exceptional is probably the word I’m looking for (I’m honestly surprised it’s not rated 5x). A beautiful boutique hotel — much prettier and posher than the photos suggest. The pictures don’t do it justice. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are cosy and thoughtfully designed, and the gardens and pool are simply stunning. Breakfast is superb — generous, high-quality, and beautifully presented. Honestly, I’m struggling to find a single fault. "

"This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. "The property is in a great location. It’s clean, safe and quiet and has air conditioning. It is located in old town and just steps from the Central Square. The owners were great to work with. We had a room refresh in our extended. Stay in the cleaners. Did a great job. We also extended our stay last minute and they were able to rearrange rooms so we didn’t have to move. We would definitely recommend this property.. "

"The property was beautiful. Flowers, birds chirping, lovely views and a beautiful pool. The host went above and beyond to be helpful. He served us a fabulous dinner on the patio! Only 15 minutes away from the crazy busy town but seemed a world away with quiet and peace. "

"Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. "

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was great and the staff, especially the afternoon reception clerk was wonderful. Not only did she acclimate us to the hotel, she helped carry our bags, and she helped plan the things we did while we were in the area. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was super. Highly recommend!"
