Special shout-out to Jasmine at the front desk, and Alyssa at the bar, for their kindness and warmth— they made us feel very welcome. This is a truly historic hotel that is worth experiencing. Sure, the rooms are a bit smaller than in modern buildings, but the charm and heritage of the place are undeniable. Our room was also very clean and updated with a comfortable bed. No coffee-making setup inside, but the lobby had a fresh brew (and biscotti) in the AM ready, so it was not an issue."

"The property appeared clean and maintained. Heater worked well. Plenty of parking and lighting in the lot. I found it odd that there was no hand soap at the sink and there was no shower curtain. When I showered, the water ran all over the floor."

"this was great for a quick road trip for Spring Break with kids. The property itself was gorgeous and serene, the rooms were clean and staff was nice- internet wasn't working well but we spent most of our time outdoors anyway. Rooms could use a bit of an upgrade and wish there were some amenities like food or a restaurant on the property but there were places not too far away. Overall we had a great time!"

"A beautiful lodge and nature experience. Food was excellent- great smashburgers and BLT. There is so much to do! Zip lining, sightseeing, nature walks, family fun or a romantic getaway. I went solo and felt truly cared for!"
