The hotel had to react to the government disallowing elephant rides, and they added several new experiences. A few things such as the light switches, AC control etc. are a bit aged by now, but that doesn't take away from the overall top rating."

Totalopplevelsen hadde vært bedre dersom renholdet hadde vært på topp. Badekaret hadde skitne flekker i seg, alle håndklærne luktet surt og bassenget var fullt av sand. Oppvask og matrester etter måltider ble ikke hentet og tiltrakk seg maur og fugler. Tungvindt å måtte ringe for å be om at dette ble hentet. I tillegg burde badet vært lukket med vindu. "Second time here. Wonderful retreat along the lake. Close to Handara Gates and Botanical Gardens. Dewi and all the staff are awesome. Cabins are wonderful."

"The rooms were not clean. There was cobwebs and spiders everywhere, in the bedrooms and eating areas. Quite a frightening experience. The other problem was there is no direct road access to the hotel, cars will have to stop outside along the roadside and the luggage and bags will have to be unloaded at the roadside. We had to walk about 5-10 mins to the hotel, amidst the padi fields while the hotel staff helped to bring our luggages via a motorbike. It’s a nice walk if it’s in the morning, but...

"This is a magnificent resort in an isolated area of ubud. You feel like you are in the middle of a rainforest and have the whole resort to yourself. Unbelievably good service and really enjoyable food. Highly recommend a stay here for around 3-4 days"
