Very avoidable hotel

It is not worthy of being a 4 / 5 * The service and upkeep of the hotel was way below par Toilets were leaking, drains jammed, dirty floor and towels in the fitness centre and sub standard food.

Good location but not good service

The room was quite small, pervious guest had smoked heavily. Upon asking receptionist about the issue, they sprayed mild room freshner. Quite disappointing.

They offer complimentary breakfast but the staff were handling food without any face or hand coverings. This was the only major issue that I had.

BAD BAD BAD - Do not book.

This was the worst hotel ever, the room was really dirty, the bathroom was unusable - the sink, toilet and bath were so disgusting that we preferred not to use them. It looked like the hotel has not been well maintained at all. Would never stay there again nor advise anyone else to stay there! REALLY POOR.

Ridiculous

I have booked the hotel for early checkin. Paid all money but didnt get the room. Lost my Money! Staff are so laidback they didnt even bother and we waited for hour and then keft us with no room.

Very confused and hopeless reception staff. I wouldn’t wish to stay in this hotel again. I had full advance payment for the room for my guests with clear instructions that guest doesn’t need to be charged for their stay and yet they were asked to make full payment for their stay. It was very awkward situation for me when my guest notified me about it. On personally speaking and meeting the managerial staff at Reception later on, their response regarding this issue is far from satisfactory. I am still waiting for proper resolution.

Pride Plaza has lost its pride

I was quite disappointed that the Pride Plaza didn't look like it did in photos. The entire property is tired and needs a major remodeling. I struggled with the WiFi, which was important to me being on business. Breakfast was disappointing as well and going to breakfast each morning was a forced march.

A good hotel with comfortable room. Adjustable air-conditioning and large bed. Light in the shower a little dim and needs an internal clean. I am 1m93 tall and the fire sensor in room doorway is lower so banged head on this, but main room has higher ceiling. Food at breakfast choice of Indian and international pastries. Used Buffet restaurant in evenings which was good. Room service was also quick and tasty. Laundry service returned all items washed and folded well. I used the gym for running. I did not use the outside pool as very hot and looked a little green. Free Wifi in room worked, if a little slow sometimes. Plenty of free bottled water in room. I will stay here again when I next visit Ahmedabad.

Not a four star hotel, not even close

I have stayed in large number of 4 and 5 star hotels, but this one was the worst I have seen. The room was old, the bathtub was pealed off, you can see brow spots all over the bathroom corners. The towel was so old that they looked almost gray instead of white. The toilet was not cleaned, and you can see the reminiscence of the last person in the room around the toilet bowl. I thought this was my luck to get stuck with this room, but during the morning breakfast with my two other colleagues, they had the same situation in their room. One of the colleague did not shower, and the second tried to do the air dry instead of using the towel. This may have been a 4 star hotel at one time, but I give it a 2 at best. Perhaps a change of management and good touch up will get it back to where it use to be.

Horrible Hotel

Given the name and fame the Hotel is not up to the standard. The staff is very unprofessional. The room was not up to the quality to the amount paid. The breakfast was also average.

A good stay

The location of this hotel is good. The service was fantastic. The bathroom was very small though and did not have curtains inside the glass panelling. The food was good. Wifi was not free which was a disappointment as all hotels now provide free wifi

MOST DISGUSTING HOTEL

The experience was horrible. From disgusting toilets to sped on the wall. This was the most terrifying hotel I ever stayed in. I travel quite a lot, so I have been using hotels.com for 2 + years now. I talked to the manager once I saw my first room, which was horrible. After, they took me to 7, you read well, SEVEN rooms, all of them were dirty in different ways of disgusting. The manager did not seem to acknowledge this at all. He was not nice nor apologetic, he actually was cocky and seem mad about me not liking the hotel. Of course, I asked for my money back, and he said hotels.com would not allow it. So I called hotels.com costumer service, and they called the manager I talked to. He then said to them that they would authorized the refund. I tried to talk to the customer service person of hotels.com and she was not even interested to follow up with the case, or look up more interested. They did not even send an apologetic email because they were not able to help. Hotels.com is helping advertise falsely a hotel that is horrible and does not comply with hygiene regulations. There were dirty in sped walls, toilets, stain towels, ceilings falling down, shower it was just a disaster. Plus I paid $300 A NIGHT for this experience. This is just the worst thing I have seen, and the fact that hotels.com does not seem interested to help, will for sure make an impact on where i book my next trips from.- Anais Escobar

Not impressive as it looks from outside

I stayed there 6th 7th feb 2017 for business purpose, as I had conference in the same hotel. 1. Room was not clean, very dark, bathroom very old, shower wasn't working properly. 2. Room service - just for water bottle and a fruit platter I had to wait for hour and a half and made 3 calls to room service. Finally I decided go out for a dinner. (not to have dinner in this hotel due to bad room service) Was not worth at all for 5711 rupees for a basic room.
