"Very nice hotel, especially if you appreciate older buildings with character. It is an old building, so don't expect everything to be modern, but that is part of its charm.
I really enjoyed the continental breakfast. The food was great, and the variety was just right—not too much, but enough to have a good selection.
The rooms are clean, with very high ceilings that make them feel even more spacious. The beds are comfortable, and the room has a TV, a small fridge, and a hairdryer. The TV could be bigger, but there are enough channels. The fridge is quite small.
There is no air conditioning. Normally, I don't think this would be a problem, as there are probably only a few days a year when you really need it. Unfortunately, I happened to stay during one of those warmer periods.
I was surprised by the noise from the nearby railway. It seems there is little or no train activity during the weekend, but on Monday trains started running early in the morning. Light sleepers should keep this in mind.
The location is excellent—walking distance to the city center and difficult to beat.
The hotel also has its own parking: €12 per day for outdoor parking and €14 for the garage.
Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again."
