"Hotel was fully booked when we arrived, some mistake maybe because of Expedia or hotels.com. That should not be my problem to find out whose problem it is. It was us, a family of 4 who could not trust the booking system. However mistakes can happen, not the end of the world. However it took more then 4 days to speak to someone to start looking into refunding the stay. The hotel was contacted on a daily basis but never replied. Be careful when booking, make sure they really have a room."

We got there and found out that the beach is about 25min walk in a road full of rocks and not 1min walk from the beach as advertised !!!we ended up leaving immediately after finding the place because it’s not what we signed up for and didn’t feel safe ! When I told the guy there that the description said 1min walk from the beach and it is a long walk in an unsafe road , he didn’t care at allll!! He said that he will walk with us to the beach ??!!! Top Aguerd Hotel Reviews

Le Médina Essaouira Thalassa Sea & Spa - MGallery Collection

8/10 Good

"Hotel is still in renovation. Will be excellent when completed in a few months."

Salut Maroc Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was colorful and fun with a gorgeous tub that we used every night. The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating! The owner saw that it was my birthday and brought me flowers to dinner. The on site restaurant serves the most delicious breakfast included with your stay. The rooftop patio is also the perfect place for a cocktail and to watch the sunset over the ocean. We will 100 percent stay here on our next trip to Essaouria."

Riad Emotion

10/10 Excellent

"The only hiccup was they were at first, a little hard to find, but they sent someone to meet us, who promptly escorted us to the place, and from the moment we opened the door and were welcomed by the most incredible fragrance, we felt right at home. By far the best breakfast we were served during our two weeks in Morocco, and we were delighted by their old world hospitality. They made us feel as if their place were our home, and the furniture, decorations, art, are all carefully chosen, tasteful, fascinating. Cannot recommend highly enough."
