"We stayed at Il Malaspina for 6 days this April and everything about the hotel was perfect! We got there early on check in day and they held our luggage while we went out to lunch. When we returned not only was our room ready, but our luggage was already in the room waiting for us. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily and left it immaculate. "This property was so far away from everything. Luckily, it was right next to the bus stop. It didn’t seem like the nicest area. When we arrived the room was set to 30° and were told the air conditioning is not yet turned on for the season so we switched rooms. We were not informed the pool is only open in the summer and the kids were looking forward to the pool so that was a let down. "Hotel is modern and rooms were well decorated and maintained. Staff was exceptional from the front desk, food services to the daily housekeeping team. Breakfast was lovely. Nearby buses and train but not close enough to hear traffic. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken.
