The room was very comfortable and clean but there were some cleanliness issues re: markups, bathroom tiles, etc. The staff was incredible, always friendly and helpful, and the pool was amazing
Great property and a real value! Staff is excellent even when I made a mistake of thinking I was checking out the next day, and they found me a new room.
Breakfast was generous and rooms and views were great.
Great place!
Great centrally located hotel. Friendly staff, nice room, not all the facilities were working (after peak season I think) but very convenient for Elounda’s restaurants, shops and bars. Lovely!
Every member of the Orama is helpful, friendly and welcoming (especially Dora). We booked this hotel as we had a family wedding in Elounda and this hotel had a great location, the rooms are modern and clean. The pool is perfect for a dip or to hang out in with friends. I would however not recommend this pool for young families as the pool is very deep. The views for breakfast of the whole bay were amazing and we would definitely come back! Thank you!
a very comfortable small hotel built over several layers and buildings
Only one night at teh end of a trip but it was very comfortable and teh pool looked nice
Well located with a very short walk to the centre of town
Reception staff v friendly. Good breakfast on a terrace with great views
Only "challenge" was finding the car park - I suggest they have a small map made for guests as google maps isn't helpful
Overall; a good place to stay i- good value and comfortable

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Nice hotel, with comfortable rooms and generally good service. It has three main issues: the rooms are located in different blocks and reaching one block from another is complicated (insufficient signs, several lifts to take); the parking is very limited, unattended and difficult to reach due to a bumpy road; the breakfast is quite insufficient, no local products, low quality and thus inadequate for the price you pay in a 4/star hotel. A positive note: the kindness of the receptionists, particularly Sophia, who try their best to help despite these objective difficulties.
Our stay at Orama was a mixed bag. The hotel seemed very nice, but pictures were very misleading. Rooms were small and not clean.
We had a problem with the air conditioning in the room. It made a terrible noise and the side of the panel came loose. It also made condensation drips, which fell on to the bed.
We spoke to the receptionist about this, but he seemed baffled and offered no real solution. We ended up moving the bed, because i don’t want condensation drips on my head, or the whole cooler.
When moving the bed, we quickly noticed how dirty it was behind the bed and the stains present on the sides. It was as if somebody puked on the bed and they only changed the sheets and linnen.
We didn’t make use of the pool, so we had little to complain about except for the ridiculous opening hours. The pool opens at 10:30 and checkout is expected at 11:00. The pool also closes at 18:30.
Staff was kind and breakfast was alright. Overall, would not be coming back.
Parking is an issue. The the evening stroll along the waterfront, literally across the street and a few stairs down is one of the best atmosphere spots in Crete.
Air conditioning did work properly
Food was terrible - eggs left out so rock hard and inedible / maybe make anyone ill
Let non residents use the pool so no where to lay down etc - had to resort to a ‘bean bag’ on floor
Avoid this place - 2 star at best and over priced
Lovely hotel but disapointed the spa wasn't open. Jacuzzi wasn't working and the rooftop bar and hotel bar weren't open. If id known before would have chosen a different hotel. Also sea view room was partial and only if you could see above the trees.
Super nice hotel with a stunning seaside view, good breakfast and nice facilities. Unfortunately the room service is not as good as the 4* rating of the hotel. Cleaners do not actually respect the "do not disturb" sign and insist asking at what time they can clean the room - in one case the cleaner even entered the room with us inside... apart from that episode, employees proves to be otherwise super nice and kind.

The place was dirty, found a huge ball of long hair on top of the bed. The rooms are very tight, the space between the bed and the walls is less than 20 cm/8in.
The hotel is in a hill, lots of stairs, very uncomfortable overall.
We have stayed in elounda many times at different hotels. We came across the Orama which is new and it appealed because of its location to the town square and boutique status. We were not disappointed. We had a beautiful superior room in block D with a stunning panoramic view. Lots of nice touches - coffee machine, kettle, robes, slippers, beach towels etc etc. The pool area is amazing. The breakfast restaurant has lovely views also - the food is good but definitely needs to include toast! The staff were some of the best staff I have ever met in any hotel.
Overall we were very pleased to have found the hotel and will definitely return.
