6 days in the sun

Very friendly and helpful people, but for the price we felt our room was quite small and the balcony tiny- literally 2 chairs and small table filled it. The larger 'junior suite' room was another 60 a night - but i just didnt think it was worth that- it was the size i would have expected for what i paid! Pillows quite hard and no option for softer pillows. Breakfast good and good that they have a small pebble beach with beds , all that said we had a great time but feel we should be able to get a better room for the price at other mediterranean resorts- although it must be said the area is very beautiful indeed and very good local restaurants.

Ok hotelli rauhallisella paikalla

Hotelli sijaitsi rauhallisella paikalla n. 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Eloundan "keskustasta". Hotellilla pieni oma kiviranta ja mukava laituriravintola. Allas sijaitsee hotellin katolla, jossa kävi kova tuuli. Huoneet uusittu hiljattain, mutta silti esim vessassa moni asia oli vähän rempallaan. Puutarhanäköala tarkoitti joko näkymää oliivipuuryteikköön tai naapuritalojen takapihoille. Aamupala suunnattu selkeästi brittituristeille, mutta kyllä siitä viikon ajan löysi syötävää. Henkilökunta ihan perusystävällistä, mutta vähän passiivista. Hotellissa oli myös lapsia, vaikka nimessä lukeekin Adults Only. Hotelli luokittelee itsensä 4*:n hotelliksi, mutta mielestäni korkeintaan 3-*.

Hotel with a view (or not)

I had specified that i wanted a room with a view as i wanted to do some writing. My room was on the first floor, and my garden view consisted of white walls two storeys high with some potted trees on the ground floor. I could only see a patch of sky by leaning right out of the window. The room was very small and hot (in mid october) and a dog barked incessantly at night. Having spoken to other guests, i decided against trying to upgrade as some of the other garden views sounded even worse than mine, and the side sea view rooms were even hotter as they faced south. The full sea view rooms were more than i was prepared to pay. Air conditioning was an extra at €6/night. I decided against it and slept with my window open, though in the height of summer it would be a must. Rooms have a very small safe (it would not contain a larger ipad) that locks with a key. They charge €2/day; I pointed out that it would be far fairer if they just had a deposit for the key (as they do with beach towels, which is fine). Unlike air conditioning, there is no higher cost to them whether i use a safe once or 10 times. The food was good (I was on half board) and very plentiful, and the restaurant is very well placed on a jetty over the sea. There are also lovely views from the sea bar on the 4th floor. However, even when i was there on my own, the bar tender said he could not turn the music down.

A Greek holiday like it used to be,a nice (recently refurbished) family run, quiet,clean hotel in a wonderful location . Who needs 5 star all inclusive?Greece like it should be.

ho trascorso in tranquillità 10 giorni ad elounda ed ho avuto anche la possibilità di visitare paesi limitrofi (plaka, agios nicolaos,) o di spostarmi sulla costa sud di creta (ierapetra, mirtos, agia fatia) per la centralità dell'albergo verso questi luoghi. si sconsiglia pero' di programmare escursioni su zone piu' lontane ( parte ovest o estremo est di creta) per lo stato delle strade ( molto impegnative nella guida....)i;

Jag blev förälskad.

Jag och min sambo bodde här i slutet av juli i två veckor och hade halvpension. Nu har jag varit hemma i tre dagar och jag vill sååå gärna tillbaka. Hotellet var alldeles utmärkt för oss som gillar lite lugn och ro. Rummen var grekiska standardrum. Maten var RIKTIGT bra för det priset!! Hotellet låg längs en liten bilväg och på andra sidan vägen fanns den lilla stenstranden och den fantastiska piren där man år frukost. Poolområdet var också standard men med en otrolig utsikt. Jag rekommenderar att ta med sig promenadskor för det finns mycket fina vyer att se. Även att hyra bil och se lite annat runtomkring. Några skor att bada i så man kan bada från klippor. OCH det lilla kaféet på höger sida om hotellet där man kan dricka en suverän Frappe.

les serveurs sont vraiment très accueillant et gentils. par contre nous avons moyen cet hôtel en partie pour sa salle de musculation inexistante! elle est fermée et inutilisable ! il faut allé dans l'hôtel d'a côté et payer 5€/jour. sinon l'endroit est paisible et très jolie. la chambre propre mais bruyant avec les travaux

Well located for town and beach

We were there for 11 nights July 2015. Overall we were very pleased by the convenience of the hotel and the value for money. The facilities are maybe not top notch but certainly good - especially for the costs. Staff were friendly and chatty - they felt genuinely keen to make sure things were as they could be. After a few nights we paid extra to upgrade to a sea view room which was again good value, though the bathroom in this room was on the pokey side. The beach right across the road is small, but there are free sun loungers and umbrella's. Also a bonus is the fact there is a car park which could get a bit full, but the road outside was also available and in a small town like Elounda access to parking is very helpful.... We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to people keen to get a good experience for a reasonable price.

Au bord de l'eau

La chambre que nous avons eu au 1er étage avait une fenêtre avec balconet qui donnait sur le mur d'un batiment alors que nous attendions une vue sur la mer !!!
