Grimstad is a small town situated in the far South of Oslo. I spent four nights in the Scandic Hotel, Grimstad which is situated 200m away from this beautiful small port. The packed wooden houses situated in the above hill adds more beauty to this region. Though Grimstad is not a major tourist attraction in Norway, it's worth a visit in the tiny awesome town.
I always love capturing these kind of old fashioned buildings while traveling. Europe is the best place for that anywhere else. I really loved my trip to Norway due to two reasons. One is the nice people over there and the other is these kind of buildings all over.
It's a short walk from Scandic Hotel to this really nice looking church. As I heard, this is the second largest wooden made church in Norway. As it is the mid winter, all the leaves are fallen off and these tree gives kind of mysterious look to the church which is situated in a top of a hill.
