"Beautiful spot for a safe, quiet stay. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. The room is comfortable, our bathroom was a bit too small. Some essentials were not in the room as described at the time of booking. The views are stunning. The hotel makes a pleasant stay with a good breakfast. "

"Whatever it is that you have been choking on, Mandragoras will have you breathing again! This concept hotel has so much soul that even the pictures you are staring at now – dumbfounded, hardly believing your luck – are going to fade the minute you set your foot in it. The best holiday ever, and a lot of it had to do with how we have been treated, the fabulous advice we have been given, the cordial talks we have had after long days of exploring. We were welcomed like family and when the time came to leave we parted like best friends. Subtle yet simple, this is an unlikely place for the posh crowd, rather this is the place for unassuming travelers, who take genuine interest in everything local. It is the place for those who value true down-to-earth luxury with no hint of opulence and appreciate how remarkably affordable it can be. And we loved the architecture! Rarely you find such respect for the environment, such consideration for guests' privacy, such clever landscaping and functional layout that will keep you marveling day-in day-out, is this genius or what? The location is convenient and quiet, off the busy road but very close to main routes, a short walk to Nydri town and KTEL bus stop. The views in Lefkada are truly exquisite, you are so spoilt for choice that even your postcard view from the terrace will seemingly become all too ordinary over the course of your stay. "Central location to eat out, shop and chill in their pool. Idyllic even. Breakfast had good variety of food. Wouldn’t want to walk to beach every day from here as it would be a bit of a pain although doable. Few minutes walk to harbour. Would go again. Massage place 1 min walk away as well. Took a trip around the islands as well - very enjoyable!"
