"The staff was great. Breakfast was on time and refilled promptly. the location was near the event even though the location of the event was changed. prepackaged simple meals and snacks were for sale at the desk. We added onto our stay but required a room change and staff was able to assist in holding our belongings until we returned from our day. weather was beautiful also."

"Upon arriving at the hotel we had some preconceived concern's but all that all went away when we arrived. The outside was clean and well maintained. The inside likewise. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Even the guest mostly were pleasant and chatty. The room was clean and well maintained. The shower was glass inclosed and had great water pressure and temp. The beds are very comfortable. The room was very quiet during our 3 night stay with the exception of some littles ones having a great time on their vacation but after 10 pm we didn’t hear anything concerning. Breakfast was OKAY. Your typical set up but it did the trick. Location is good. Short drive to anything you may need in shopping or dining. We felt comfortable and safe at this location. Pikes peak and Garden of the gods are a must see…beautiful. Tip: 1. Don’t gas up at connivence store down the street of hotel. Prices are more reasonable away from hotels. 2. An ice chest will be helpful, especially if you have kids to keep drinks in. And chapstick too. 3. The drive to the Summit of Pikes peak is no joke. If you're not comfortable with a few hair-pin turns, high on a mountain, then there is a train that takes you up as well. Also, bring warm clothes incase a brief bout of freezing weather come as it did when we were there. Some people only had t-shirts and shorts on when the temps dropped below 40 degrees with sleet and gusty cold winds. The views are amazing though."

"This facility badly needs LOTS of maintenance as most amenities either were out of service or not available. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful; the men on weekday duty and one woman on overnight front desk duty were kind and helpful. The lobby was nice. However, positives ended once we got in the elevator to our room. The elevator floor was in need of repair (flooring was duct-taped down). While our room on the top floor seemed pest-free and towels and bedding appeared clean, the room was otherwise in poor repair and didn't have much other than soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. One bed was broken and separating from the headboard. Other furnishings needed replacing/cleaning. Walls, carpeting, and curtains were damaged or badly worn. Wi-Fi service (which we needed) either didn't work or was spotty at best. We were glad the room's AC worked; it was a very warm weekend when we stayed there. The property's pool was closed for repair and there was only one small ice machine on the 1st floor (a big inconvenience). Daily breakfast service was acceptable, but food selections were very limited; you need to bring your own if you have dietary issues. The most annoying thing was that while we paid for our entire stay the first night, we had to keep getting our keys reprogrammed to access our room every day (we stayed for 3 nights). If you need a super-cheap hotel to stay at in this area, it's okay, but go someplace else if you want more."

"Facility was clean and staff was very courteous and helpful. Property is in need of a lot of maintenance....worn carpets, scratches and dents in the furniture pieces, light fixtures that did not work, damaged corridor walls, etc. Rooms facing the Interstate are noisy from traffic. Overall, an OK place for the price but definitely a budget motel"

"We have stayed at this location before and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately was not has happy this time. Rooms were updated and clean.Our rooms didn’t have enough towels,bedding and refrigerator was not on when we checked it.It took more than 4 hours to get the stuff we needed from housekeeping. Breakfast was terrible we didn’t even bother going down for breakfast after the first day. They were doing construction outside the rooms at 8:00 in the morning on Saturday this should have happened later.There were also problems with the elevator this has been a problem in the past also you would think that it would be resolved by now.We had to paid for parking which I believe was hotels.com issue because they advertised free parking they need to update there listing.Although the hotel should have waived the parking.Hopefully the hotel resolves these issues for future guests."
