"Beautiful hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms and service is great. Location is not bad, it's a bit of a walk to the main road but it's dingy in the nighttime, especially if you are alone. Best to take a car to and from the main street. Hotel is also a little hard to find if you're ordering a ride. Power does turn off and there is typically a waiting period before the generator starts. My only complaint is I asked for an iron and couldn't get one because laundry room was closed at that time? and reception couldn't get the iron for me. I feel that reception should have access to these amenities at all times. Another time, i asked for my clothes to be ironed and the power went out for a significant amount of time so I had to change clothes lol. No airport shuttle and breakfast is free "
"I made a two room booking error while standing in front of the check-in desk (wrong date). The hotel staff support was horrible. When I reached out to Hotels.com for support, I was also disappointed with the vanilla answer. What was concerning was that hotels.com agents were not able to reach hotel stall through a telephone. I was standing in front of the reception desk and the phone never rang OR it was deliberately being ignored. When I offered to connect them through my cellphone it was rejected by hotels.com agents. Overall failure by both the hotel and hotels.com agents…."
"Overall, It’s a great place! The rooms are well maintained but the carpet looks a bit old and not very attractive to the eye. However, it still looks very clean and without any smell.
The breakfast is wonderful. I have found everything so tasty.
The lobby area is so cozy to sit for long.
The spa service is great. Staff in the spa area look so committed to maintain its quality. I have enjoyed the steam but I would rather have small bulb in the room. I didn’t find it very comfortable to sit in the dark with only small light from outside."
"The effort put on the design of the resort to reflect traditional way of life is just amazing! It is a perfect reminder of the quiet and peaceful countryside life.
The beauty of the flowering shrubs and the well-maintained nature and green areas had made walking within the compound absolutely peaceful and absorbing. It is a perfect place to get away from the hurly-burly of city life. There is a wonderful view of the lake from every direction. The lake is so still and surrounded by scenic trees and shrubs that makes it perfect for kayaking. I have really enjoyed kayaking covering the whole lake along the edges.
The restaurant service is fantastic. The breakfast that combines Ethiopian traditional cuisine with the modern one is so tasty. They have excellent variety. The lay out of the restaurant close to the water park is just mesmerising. The friendliness of the staff and their motivation to serve makes you feel honoured. They all have an excellent approach.
The room service is great. I particularly loved the set up of mattresses on the veranda. The only thing lacking in the room was hand towels. It is one of the basics for bathroom and must have been overlooked somehow. One wooden rubbish bin in the room would also make the room service complete
My overall stay was nothing less than wonderful and memorable!"
