"family resort lots of children…. animals in the petting area are not attended to, at a pet level. It made me sad! the property grounds are very pretty. location is a destination but we are out of towners and know nothing about the area. food was ok, again very geared to family stays! We were on our 34th anniversary trip, had slightly different agenda, quite, adult time."

"This is a beautiful hotel, conveniently located near the Shannon airport. It is very large and a little bit confusing to find your room. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and charming. "

"Not a 5* by any stretch. Room very dated , what looked to be semen / soiled stains on the chair by the bed. Paid for an upgrade to a balcony suite so would be surprised to see what you get when you pay for less. Advertised as a river view , but note you must hang over the railings to see it. Extra €50 odd for breakfast. Personally would resonate it with a 2/3* at most."

"Staff was attentive and very professional. Also very nice. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast had variety and was good. Location was central and easy to walk to medieval area. Highly recommend staying here!"
