Enjoyed Our Short Stay at Ibis

It was overall a comfortable stay with very good services and staff. The shuttle was waiting for us at the airport. We just stayed overnight and left the hotel in the morning. One thing missing was that the breakfast was not included in the price (though we knew it when booking).

This is a good hotel if you're coming for business in Accra. It is very convenient and close to several businesses as well as close to the airport.

Would have given a 5 star if not for the AC

Room was a little stuffy. It felt like the air condition was really not blowing, but instead felt like just the fan alone was blowing. And yes, I made sure the thermostat was set to AC. Aside that, it was great place to stay. I loved the complementary airport drop-off shuttle which operated every hour.

Average but old

Hotel rooms are tired and old and really need an upgrade given cost of rooms. Damaged toilet fittings and basin tops. Safe not working properly and wardrobe shelves dismantled. The first room I stayed in had a bad damp smell and I had to request a change which did happen but took over half an hour. The breakfast buffet is very good with a good choice of local and European. The gym is just below reasonable, with 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical, but all machines are very old. Limited weight machines. The pool is small and more of a kids size. I wouldn’t want to stay there again given the state of the rooms. The main reception area is the hotel is nice as are the people.

The staff is courteous, friendly respectful and professional. The property is at very convenient location. The main problem was that the front door steps do not have a railing to hold onto going up and down; therefore, some people, especially seniors, have difficulty in navigating the front steps.
