"I would highly recommend this place. The location is excellent. It’s a quiet neighborhood, yet everything is within walking distance. You don’t compromise living space for location. The unit is large, well equipped and very well maintained. Being on the third floor allows you to open windows for a nice breeze which is great in the summer. "We had a lovely stay, great location. Staff were lovely and helpful. Improvments could be made. Family room needs better lighting, a fridge would be great as the milk went bad, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work so the bathroom was very wet after a shower, and the shower was extremely hot, no child would have been able to use it let alone an adult. But it does have good points. The improvements would make it a fantastic stay"

"I’ve been staying at this hotel since 2010, and it’s always been our go‑to place when visiting Cardiff. We’ve loved it for so long that even our now 11 year old looks forward to staying here. The staff are consistently helpful, the location is ideal, and the facilities have always contributed to a really enjoyable stay. However, this is the first visit where I’ve felt the hotel is overdue for a refurbishment. The rooms and bathrooms are showing their age, and the spa facilities in particular need attention. The changing rooms look very tired, and the rainfall shower experience is barely functioning. One additional point, although not the hotel’s fault, is the walk from the city centre. The area now has a large number of homeless individuals, and while I understand the complexity of the issue, it did make the walk back feel uncomfortable when I was alone with my son in the late evening."

"Great location, price and staff. Parking too. We had a room for 3 adults but only had two towels and there was no hot water from the shower. The kettle also didn’t look the cleanest and had limescale. It’s perfect if you want cheap and cheerful for a night out but if you want comfort or are taking older family and friends it misses those final touches"
