"The access is made through a side door entrance. A grey looking corridor leads you to 1st floor flat. Great entrance with comfy corner chair facing a shoe rack. Living room and main bedroom overlook the main square of Aberfeldy. Very pittoresque. Kitchen and Bathroom had showroom effect, clean, functional and practical. "Stopover on the way to Skye, clean and tidy!"

"The hotel looks very nice from the outside and impressive on reception level with the old mill and water running under the building. However, once in the room impressions changed!! The carpet was completely threadbare, ALL furniture had been painted battleship grey and could smell fumes from it. Don’t think the dressing table, bedside cabinet or bed had been moved recently to be cleaned behind them. The bed was very uncomfortable and pillows terrible! Bathroom was small with a shower over an old bath. Get more power from a water pistol than this shower, it was poor. All in all, this hotel is NOT worth the money. A certain budget hotel is nicer on the eye, more comfortable and cleaner with the same amenities and same price for breakfast and at half the price!!"

Atholl Palace Hotel

"From check in right through to check out the staff were excellent. Fonbas Suite was lovely and comfortable with views to dream of. Sitting room upstairs was very well stocked for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Milk and bottled water also supplied. Bedroom was very comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was buffet style but had a plentiful supply of hot foods. Bar was busy and entertainment on the friday night. The hotel has had a lot of cosmetic decor changes too. As always we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A place to relax and enoy yorself in lovely surroundings. The gardens are beautifully maintained."

"Stay was ok bed was a little hard but each person is different to be far pillows very thin and our shower would not work had to bath and I have a hernia I did mention to staff when leaving so hopefully they will sort that got to say we did have a amazing curry just some small things could make this a very good hotel location gorgeous."

"We had the best time at The Westlands and hope we can come back soon. The hotel location is excellent. There tons of things to do within a 3 to 5 minute walk. You even have the entrance to a trail right across the street, if you want to run or ride a bike. The staff is lovely and very helpful. Rooms have been beautifully renovated recently and are quite spacious."
