"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. The Hafod Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is beautiful and located in an amazing spot next to the spectacular Devils Bridge Waterfalls. The hotel/ rooms are decorated to a very high standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our evening meal at the hotel was very good and would suggest adding breakfast to your stay too. The staff were great as well! The nearest car park is short distance up the hill (free parking). If you have luggage, park up directly opposite next to the outdoor dining area. I would highly recommended this hotel."

"The room was lovely and spacious, the staff were amazing, the service in the dining room was excellent. Parking is limited but we were lucky all 3 days. Loved the hotel. The shower needs some edging to catch the water from spreading over the floor (drainage worked fine) We were at the hotel for 3 nights and loved every minute. Thank you"

"This is where we always stay in Aberystwyth. It is conveniently located on the edge of town with plenty of free parking. A flat 10-15 minute walk takes you right into the centre. The hotel reception is located in the pub next door, where there is a good choice of food. Secure access to the lodge is by key card. Unfortunately there is not a lift in the lodge, but it is only 2 floors. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped as was the bathroom. Working A/C was a bonus with our changeable weather. We have never been aware of any noise during our stays here, apart from maybe the odd door closing."
