Sustainable hotel with luxury experience

Wonderful facility with comfortable and modern amenities. The hotel fits in with the nearby industrial harbor environment as well as providing an inviting and pleasant atmosphere. The location is convenient to walk or bike to restaurants or the old town. We appreciated the many ways the hotel is operating sustainably including the keyless door system. We would stay here again.

The staff at Pier 5 were fantastic! The room was comfortable and clean, the tv had the mirroring function so we weren’t beholden to watching shows in Danish, a language we don’t know. Being right on the water was wonderful, there are great paths along the waterfront, good restaurants nearby, and historic sights within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was nice but was not cleaned and no towels changed during the whole stay. Maybe they don’t do this anymore? Also, there was often no one at front desk when needed. The hotel facilities are great, gym and there’s a new restaurant. The location is also good and quiet.

Overall a good stay, we had five nights and asked for a cleaning one time. The cleaning did not vacuum a rather dirty floor. We could not get any espresso, latte products as the machine was broken in the restaurant; so we went to Lagkagehuset every morning instead of the breakfast available at the hotel. Without air conditioning we usually just open the windows but our room was directly above the outdoor smoking sitting area and the smoke was unbearable during the days and nights which meant we were quite warm with windows closed. Loved the location ❣️

Beware of hidden costs.

The hotel was really nice. It was the hidden fees that bothered us. It cost us $20 to park the car overnight. Breakfast cost us $50 ($25 a piece) even though hotels.com said there was only a fee for breakfast on weekends. We were there on a Tuesday. The breakfast buffet was good, but not worth that price. Hardly any fruit. The staff was kind. The room was small but nice.
