"The Daria-I Nor hotel was unexpectedly closed during our stay in Alpe dâHuez.
This meant there was no access to the facilities advertised at the time of my original booking.
The restaurant was closed for breakfast and evening meals. The Spa, Bar and Ski shop were closed, and access to the Alpe Express was only available via a 100m muddy path rather than through the hotel. The staff were friendly and the swimming pool was adequate.
If I had known the hotel was closed I would have booked more...

"Fantastic hotel, with perfect access to the slopes. Only criticism is that the no phone rule is not enforced in the spa, spoiling the environment. "
