"Our initial room was awful. bedroom was windowless, pokey facilities. Fortunately we were switched to a totally refurbished room, one suitable for a disabled guest.
Breakfast buffet was reasonably varied, pity the evening choice was not as interesting and often had gone cold. there were many staff desperate to take away used plates almost before being finished with. There was an unseemly use to offer bar services, almost before sitting comfortably at times."

"Accommodation was well maintained and clean. Ther is no onsite manager an entry is by keypad. I did not receive the code for the property 48 hours before check in. So I emailed CIH. Despite having booked and paid in full on Expedia I was told I must pay a local charge and the cleaning fee before being given the code to access the property. This felt like a scam. I contacted Expedia and eventually was advised to pay the extra (250 euro).
The property is great but beware the extra charges."

"The good:
very clean (I am fussy and I was happy!) staff friendly & helpful - Aida is fabulous & without her the hotel would be a very different place, stacks of sunbeds, food varied & pretty good, comfortable beds, clean towels every day, pool view rooms convenient, 20 min walk to the airport ( fun to stand under a landing plane once in your life!) via Matagorda to the left, 20min walk to Puerto Del Carmen to the right, bus stops close, nice beach, accessible for the mobility compromised (not...
