"I absolutely love The Lake Hotel. My daughter lives in Skibbereen, Ireland and this was my first visit to Killarney. She highly recommended it and I am so glad she did. "The rooms were clean. Apartment extremely spacious. However the bed was extremely uncomfortable (mattress was collapsed), shower stall was blocked, hot water boiler was spoilt (although reloaded quickly) and the dryer wasn't working. Staff are only available from 9 am to 6 pm which makes them inaccessible. Excellent location but spoilt by these details. "

"The staff was so helpful and friendly. My husband needed an eye doctor unexpectedly and they were able to assist us early in the morning. The Spa was fantastic, we used the facilities every day.
