"This hotel was further from Cochem than we hoped for. I booked two rooms for one night at least four months in advance requesting large windows that open. We got one room with a very tiny window only, and one room with a medium size window. The staff was very nice and apologized for not meeting my request saying "they didn't know how this happened". "Das Hotel beeindruckt besonders durch die vielen kleinen liebevollen Details. Ein wahrer Gegenentwurf zu Luxushotels von der Stange. In jeder Ecke und Niesche gibt es etwas zu erkunden und zu entdecken. Es wird einem daher auch nie langweilig, auch wenn man das Burggelände nie verlässt. Ein besonderer Höhepunkt ist der Burggarten. Man kann sich dort auch die Zeit u.a. mit einer Partie Schach oder Boccia vertreiben.
