"After a red-eye from Los Angeles I needed a spot close to the airport and rental cars for my overnight in Brisbane. The View Hotel in Hamilton stood out from the rest. Ideally located looking across two reaches of the Brisbane River, the hotel lives up to its name, so I did myself a favour and booked a view room. Wow, it did not disappoint. "Room was small and had brown water leaking from shower. Shifted to great room for next two nights. Lady we dealt with was so great sorting it out."

"Staff were lovely, room was nice, had all necessities. Location was excellent, easy walk to river or mall, not too noisy/reasonable soundproofing from road noise. Only real downside was the TV - cast from smart device rather than smart TV didn't work but otherwise a great stay."

"Car parking was awkward with building support pillars placed randomly, I suppose it takes sometime to get used to navigating these hazards. Looking at the scrape marks, it would appear they have often been contacted by vehicles. Anyway it is what it is much care need to be taken by newcomers."

"The Junior Suite was wonderful - spacious, very comfortable bed and terrific bathroom and bath tub. The shower nozzle was a bit hit and miss but everything else was perfect! Staff very friendly and helpful and I definitely appreciated the upgrade and complimentary drinks. I’ve marked down the amenities but that is only because the renovations have limited them. I always return to this hotel when the deals are good."

"good location. room/venue was clean. the only issues would probably be trying to bring heavy suitcases up the stairs from the underground car park and the shower being luke warm and the shower head moving all over the place. other than that it was a nice stay :)"
