"This place is an absolute gem. The rooms are large, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is big with a rain shower head. Everything is bright and clean. The rooms are quiet. "The hotel is perfect for a beachy, chilled holiday if that’s what you enjoy. The small town has some shops etc which is good and Chania is only a 30 minute drive away along with Souda which are beautiful towns. Especially the Chania markets! A must go to if you love a bargain! The hotel could be somewhat more clear on what is included etc. The hotel is amazing so don’t let that put you off but we were told the tourist charge was €10 euro per room, per night, which is correct but we were also...

"Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains. The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice. Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed. Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally. "

"Positiv: Super Essen Super Personal Alle Super Freundlich Sehr Schöne Hotelanlage Bequeme Betten Sauberes und schönes Bad Contra: Das Hotel kann da nichts für … aber sobald man den Hotelstrand verlässt und weiter geht…. Verschmutzung durch Müll. Sowohl von Touristen als auch von Einheimischen. Die (an sich tollen) Zimmer wurden leider nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Als ein Kugelschreiber zu Boden fiel, entdeckten wir eine ordentliche Staubschicht unter dem Sofa. "

"Jeg boede på Mare Boutique en enkelt nat, og jeg nød virkelig mit ophold. Jeg blev mødt af en fantastisk sød receptionist og resten af personalet var også rigtige søde. Beliggenheden var perfekt og værelset var helt i orden. Jeg har kun godt at sige om mit ophold på hotellet, som jeg varmt kan anbefale."
