"Funky hotel, but very nice with large common areas. Totally contact-less (keys are on a phone app), about 10 minute walk from train station. Most tourist sites are close. Our room was a little odd (upper floor with sloped ceilinds, bed in middle of room). The bed was comfortable, and it's one of the few places we found with air-conditioning (slow, but it eventually made the foom nice on a hot day. "The Waldhorn staff were friendly and knowledgeable, helping make the most of each day. The free coffee and apples were great. Easy (and beautiful) walking distance to swim entry points for the Aare as well as the old town. Great meals at the Lebanese restaurant up the block, and the Kornhauskellar over the bridge."

"Friendly hotel staff, who speak fluent English. Wonderful location, down the road from the main train station and a short walk round the corner for trams to anywhere. Enjoyable breakfast spread with a wide selection of coffee, tea and juices. The only thing I was very unhappy about was the bed, it was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in among all the hotels I have been to. The pillow that came with the bed was so flat I had to roll it up to get some volume. I think the hotel should...

"Fantastic hotel. Some of the nicest staff ever! Great location with beautiful room. We had the family room that sleeps four. Two adults and two adult sized teenagers fit very comfortably. Huge bathroom and even a mini kitchen. Beautiful library on the floor with extra space to spend time in. Coffee, tea, water and even milk for coffee included with stay. We loved it here. "
