"Die Zimmer sind ungewöhlich groß. Die Ausstattung relativ modern. Trotz seiner Größe ist das Hotel ruhig. Für uns war es jetzt schon zum zweiten mal Ausgangspunkt um den Yosemite NP zu besuchen."

"Enjoyed the location easy to access many things. The facility is lovely, loved the wine bar. Disliked the housekeeping service, hard to get help. And the bad was uncomfortable, but the room was nice in general. Also parking was bad but they were doing construction. We will try their larger rooms next time!"

"We’ve stayed at the Sonora inn a couple of times now. It’s decent and clean, however it’s old and it seems like the owner struggles to keep up with upgrades and maintenance sometimes looks cheap and not properly installed. The potted plants and shrubbery around the property are dead and make it look rundown. They also have a very strict policy that check in is 4pm. You can pay $36 to check in early if a room is available. We arrived at 230pm and we needed a room sooner since we were traveling...

"Last minute pit stop on a road trip. So lucky to have snagged a historic cabin. Bruce was a fantastic host and we will definitely be back for a longer stay to explore the area and Yosemite! Cabins are dog friendly too! Such a beautiful location! "

"Stayed for one night prior to dropping off my son at camp. Not many choices in the area, and this looked good, although very expensive for the type of accommodation. The staff were friendly, the pool was clean and the room was comfortable. I love that the window opens. My issue is that the water smells like a pond, so after you take a shower your whole room smells musty, and there's no fan in the bathroom so your whole room will stink. Tried opening the door to get a cross breeze going, but...

"Beautiful landscape. For what you pay for. Rooms are average . Had a small problem with the shower not draining correctly, but got resolved very fast. Staff are super kind there. Slept very well. I would definitely stay there again. It’s in the center of town as well. Just remember the marketplace that’s in town is double the price on almost everything."

"When booking in Sonora you must understand everything is vintage! The room was updated and clean aand I felt safe in the area. We have stayed at other hotels in the area and will not return to any of them. I will book again with Hotel Lumberjack. "
