"The room was good. The breakfast was very good. We didn’t eat dinner as we preferred to go out to somewhere smaller. The pool was excellent but didn’t use the sauna because it was expensive, I don’t need to spend 3 hours in a sauna. There’s been plenty of hotels were they have been included or cheaper."

We didn’t take advantage of their spa facilities unfortunately as we did not have time, but it was easy to find the hotel and had good parking. The breakfast here was fantastic ! "The hotel is OK, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, however the hotel is NOT what I was specifically searching for. I had two preferences: A hotel in Piran with breakfast. As we arrived we found that Piran was over 5 kilometers away and that the hotel did not serve breakfast at this location, rather it was in their other complex in Portoroz. There were also very misleading pictures on the website, regarding the standard of the facility. Lastly, a return ticket to Piran by taxi...

"The staff was completely uncaring and unhelpful. There was no ventilation in our room. None at all. When I asked at the front desk I was told someone would take a look at it. When I asked again an hour later they said they called to have it inspected. When we got back from. dinner no one had been there. When I checked again with the front desk (in person since the phone did not work) I was told it was inspected and nothing was wrong. I was told that all of the rooms were the same temperature and it was suggested i sleep with the windows open. There was an obvious error code on the thermostat and all of the other rooms had their patio doors closed so I assumed their climate was working. So I was lied to twice by the front desk. And they were very smug and rude about everything. Even at check in. We have been all over the world in many hotels and have never been treated so poorly. Yes. The pool and location is great but does not even begin to compensate for the staff behavior at the price. This was our sixth visit to Portoroz and I will never stay at this hotel again. There are much better choices."
