"The location of this hotel is perfect! It is across the street from the Royal Palace and within walking distance to Gran Via, Plaza Major, Plaza del Sol, etc. Staff was nice. Only thing was, I stood for 4 nights and the AC did not work. I brought it up to their attention twice and no one stopped by to take a look at it. They gave me instructions over the phone and it still didn't work.
They also didn't have an Iron in the room.. I asked front desk for one and they said they didn't have enough...

"The AC doesn’t cool below 25 degrees. The hotel has a preset to only cool down to that temperature. We informed the staff about it. They played with us, setting it in fan mode. Then they said they would change the room. At the end, no room change, no AC cooling. We couldn’t sleep comfortably for the 3 nights we stayed there."

"Always nice to stay at Ibis. Breakfast was ok, the eggs were cold. Surprised that there is no storage at all in the room. Hard to believe that as a new Ibis, they did not plan for that.
Also, the lack of a secure wi-fi is a MAJOR mistake."

"Very clean. A really nice vibe, the people that were in the same room as me were very very cool and easy to talk to, the staff was always very polite and helpful with everything that we needed. The location is PERFECT, around 11-14 min away from Gran Via, literally in front of the museo Reina Sofía, many restaurant options, the buffet that they have included in the breakfast fee is very well sorted and worth the extra money. Definitely a 5 stars "
