"A quaint old-fashioned-- in good ways-- hotel. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Nice that they have an onsite restaurant, bar and very large breakfast room -- complete with a nice hot breakfast (that even includes Bailey's 😁). And a lift/elevator. Only 2 complaints: 1). One must either drive or take a taxi into town-- no public transportation close by and (2) No A/C or fans. Overall, though, a lovely place to stay."

"Amazing breakfast and beautiful hotel in a lovely town. The only downside was the restaurant specials where abit disappointing. But the staff where very helpful and it was a nice old fashioned hotel but in very good nick."

"Great place to stay! Staff/ the service was definitely the highlight of the stay. Always there to help with recommendations, assistance and answering all questions. Room was nice and tidy with a field of cows outside the window! Breakfast in the morning was a great touch with a buffet and hot food to order, made a great start to every morning. Good location, close to city center although having a car made seeing eeverything very easy. Would definitely stay here again :)"

"The apartment was perfect for our holiday, it was very roomy and comfortable. There was 2 bathroom's, a fully equipped kitchen dinning area as well. We would definitely stay there again if we ever get back over there "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Herbert House!! We were looking for a convenient, walkable location that was also quiet as we have a toddler. This place delivered!! We easily walked to downtown and restaurants but also enjoyed breakfast on site every morning. The family who runs this home is very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. For example the crib for our toddler was all set up and was a nice, cozy cot! Easy parking and a great place to come back to after we...
