"What a beautiful renovation and serene environment. These are basic rooms and not luxurious. No A/C, but the rooms are clean with modern bathrooms. The property has a lovely central square that the hotel rooms surround, that is peaceful and charming. Gorgeous biblical art and grand arches can be seen throughout the common spaces, and act as a reminder that this building was originally a convent from the mid 1600s. "Room smelled of urine, after it was cleaned it smelled ok, but the urine smell returned. Beds were hard and not comfortable. Lots of rules, can’t take breakfast back to room, can’t eat in the lobby. I heard the word forbidden so many times. I asked for two wine glasses and they gave me juice glasses… they have a bar. Parking garage is a huge challenge getting in and out using a car lift. Our car was fairly small and it was still a challenge. The staff has to assist you to get your car out....
