"Quiet location with friendly staff. We went with several people so we're in several of the rooms and each of them were in need of a good cleaning. Many reviews mentioned lack of cleanliness but there were responses saying it was addressed so we took a chance. We knew it was older but clean it was not. "While the rooms were very quiet and the hotel was only a few blocks from the pier the parking was a joke. We could not pull in to check in my sister had to sit in her car in the street while I went to try and get checked in. There was no parking in the garage which if there was would have costed $39. We had to park in an affiliated parking lot almost 2 blocks away and was charged $30. We were told if we left the parking lot later to go look around we would have a parking spot when we came back....

"Upon arrival the room smelled like freshly smoked weed. Second night someone pull the fire alarm and everyone was awaken early morning. There was no Continental breakfast as usual. "The location was fantastic; you can walk to pretty much anything if you want to. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The first room we received was in poor condition and had several issues (plugs didn't work, fridge went out, bedside table missing, blind broken). We notified the front desk the next day and we were moved to what appeared to be a much nicer (updated) room. Once we moved rooms, we didn't really have any other issues, except that they sink in the new room wouldn't drain....
