"Good hotel with straight forward self check-in process. Fairly central in Lucerne. Knocking some points off the cleaniness as there was a kettle used by the previous hotel guest that was not clean (i.e. had cloves and tissue still in the kettle). Once this was reported to the hotel management, they quickly replaced the kettle by the time we came back from our day outing."

"This is a homey, Bed& Breakfast like property. Basic, clean, next to Denner-grocery store, bus stop on the corner with free pass to Lucerne city. It was the perfect place for us- sort of in the middle to get to Interlaken & Zurich. They have wonderful people that made our stay extra special- Alina, Valerie & Lily. Danke!"

"Beautiful surroundings, and the breakfast was very good. We arrived late and ate dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel. The atmosphere was wonderful. "

"This was a top class property. The room and all facilities were modern, clean, and in perfect working order. The location is amazing - a short walk to the lake, a great walk around the lake, and a fantastic castle/museum just down the road. The only issues we had were: There was no Enlish version for the self-check-in process, so there was a bit of guesswork. This made finding our room a matter of checking all the doors with the access card. The email with the room number only arrived sometime...

"Cute, clean hotel. Owners Nadia and Thomas are incredibly warm and hospitable. Located on the main shopping street in Engelberg. Easy walk to the train station and ski lift. Also very accessible bus service to the lifts. "

"Very functional but small room. Near train station . Small bar with short menu is ok. Breakfast is in sister hotel down the street. "

"The property is located about 15 minutes from the Lucerne train station. When we checked in, the registration was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They asked if we’re going to eat and when we said yes, they said they would have a table waiting for us in the attached restaurant. The room was large and very clean. Beautiful views overlooking lake Lucerne. We were able to have a set on the outside patio which was fantastic. The only issue was the a/c unit. It cooled very well but...

"Pros: The guest house is 9 mins walk to the train station. It is close to restaurant and other amenities. The bed is comfy Cons: Didnt replace the empty shower gel on the last day of our stay. Have to walk up to the 3rd floor with our luggages."
