"Villas Nicolas was absolutely amazing! The staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was so nice to stay at an adults only place! I think the property has only 12 rooms so it feels intimate. Therefore, it's quiet without tons of people. We swam in the pool every day. Breakfast is included. If I would visit Manuel Antonio again, I would without a doubt stay here again. 10/10!!!"

"The view from the balcony is amazing. The dorm bed was comfortable, toilet facilities were great. Kitchen was good as well although could use new kitchen utensils/pots/pans as what was available were quite destroyed/melted. Overall great dorm!"

"The included breakfast is amazing—two courses! The bathrooms/showers are very tight in spacing, but there are bigger bathrooms in the attached restaurant section. Those bathrooms/showers are shared by all in the hostel, including those with private rooms (which was fine, never had to wait to use facilities). There is no A/C, so realize that it can get quite hot in the rooms, especially during the day (it’ll get hotter than outside temp, even with the fan). The host is incredibly friendly. I’d...

"We (4 adults) enjoyed our stay very much. Finding this hidden treasure off the main road was a little difficult the first time, but we learned the visual landmarks quickly. We felt VERY secure inside the Suites and it was quiet and relaxing. Located in a neighborhood, we had very pleasant interactions with the local residents and frequented the grocery store nearby. David, the Manager, was WONDERFUL with communication and photos showing us where to park, how to gain entrance and get to our rooms...

"This is a really nice place. The directions on Expedia stated check-in was required before 6 p.m. the staff was very flexible for our 8:30 p.m. check-in. The place was a little hard to find and required a 4x4 to get up a big hill. The property staff escorted us, which was extremely helpful. I would recommend this place if you want an adventure."

"It was so much nicer here than i first though it would be. A lot of toilets and showers , fans in the room and lockers. Just a few staircases and you were at the bus stop and the supermarket. The only thing that could have been better is somewhere to wash cloths and someplace at the hostel where you could sunbath "

"This property has amazing potential! I was literally the only guest there and not notified that they were about to start a long-needed renovation. Still, I was treated with 5-star hospitality. Luciane made me a wonderful breakfast and there was a voucher for use at the lovely restaurant, El Arado, a short walk up the road. Large, clean pool. The rooms are organized into duplex cabanas on a hillside so fair warning to guests with mobility issues. Can’t wait to see what they do with the place! "
