"The view from the room is lovely. The kitchen has the basics, plenty for breakfast and lunch. Without a car, there are many, many steps from the town center to the apartment. The landlord was exceptionally knowledgeable. Our ferry was cancel because of wind. She drove us across the island to the port where the car ferry was running. "

"This place was a disaster from beginning to end. I booked it not reading reviews and am completely regretting it. Nothing worked, no internet, moldy fridge, no working phone...etc. if we touched it, chances are it was broken or not working. To the credit of the cleaning staff, it wasn't and issue of cleanliness, but a matter of being a severely outdated and run down hotel. A shame because the location is really nice. "Apartment is small and quite dark as its on the ground floor, but this meant it was cool even on very hot days. It's really well equipped with everything we needed. The only slight issue we found was the bells from the clock tower 50yards away, they start at 6am and stop at 10pm. Didn't cause us issues as we wake up early but not great for those who want a lie in. Location is perfect just a few mins walk to the small back streets with great restaurants and close to the harbour."
