"The staff is friendly but the hostel in a very bad shape. The window of the room was broken and couldn't close properly, which implied constant noise all night (the hotel faces a very busy street). There isn't anyone after 9 pm at the reception, making it impossible to get assistance. Overall not a great experience, one gain to spend a night a bit further from center to get a better stay. "

"We stayed at Guest House Kono in May, 2025. The location is great, about a 20 minute walk to the Old Town. There are a lot of steps, all downhill on the way to Old Town. There is a reserved parking spot on the street just above the apartment. The kitchen is not well appointed, so I wouldn't plan on doing a lot of cooking during your stay. "This is a lovely little guest house right next to the old town. It's literally a few steps away. As such, the room I had had a great view over the sea, the castle and the city walls, while being sound proof so that the traffic and sound of the tourists couldn't be noticed. "Wonderful communication and accommodating to luggage drop off. Friendly directions and advice to great restaurants in the Old Town. Nice touch with lavender color decorations, candies, tea bags, hot water boiler, frig, cups & dishes, a chair & a table. Very roomy. Lots of steps to climb to get to the property but very quiet and safe. Sheets are clean but not the cover blanket (has stains). Overall a very wonderful stay!"
