"Don’t understand all the negative reviews on this hotel. It’s no frills yes. The mindset going into this has to be just that. A bed, shower and tv. It’s clean place and welcoming. Check in staff very friendly. "

"It was clean and had a nice location. It was nice that we could also rent a golf cart from the front desk at a lower price than most rental places on the island. I think vending machines on the property would be nice for after hour drinks and snacks."

"Rooms were clean, & the beds were comfy as well. The pool & hot tub were also nice. Super friendly staff as well. Arbys & Wendys are within walking distance from the hotel, bonus! Conveniently right off the expressway (interstate), which made getting on and off the expressway easy & simple! Great place to stay when going to Cedar point. Literally 15 min down the road. Will stay there again!"

"Great property! Doors are connected to the outside but area was safe and quiet. 5-10 minute drive to Cedar point and 5-10min drive to downtown Sandusky. Amazing restaurants within walking distance or >5 min. Would recommend."

"I stayed in one of the single queen rooms and was very impressed. Super clean and all basic needs met. The mattress was one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on but for the price and convenience I could deal with it for a night. Staff was very nice. The area didn’t seem super great but being the busy summer season I did not feel unsafe."
