Hotellin ympäristö oli todella rauhallista, ei liikennettä tms. Lähelle oli iso Synka supermarket n. 300 metrin päässä. Majoituimme hotellissa 15 yötä. Aluksi meillä oli kahden makuuhuoneen huoneisto kaupunkinäkymällä ja loppuloma merinäköalalla. Molemmat huoneistot oli todella suuret ja hyvin varusteltu, jopa astiankuivaus...

"We were 3 families staying at Caretta Beach Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is just steps away from the beach, extremely well maintained and unbelievably clean. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere this spotless! Housekeeping did an excellent job. The location was also perfect, a great home base for day trips to Elafonisi Beach and Balos. "Great location in Omalos. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed two days and they brought us to the Samaria Gorge and the Mount Gingilos. They even organized to send our luggage to our next destination, so we wouldn't have to carry them in the Samaria Gorge. e had breakfast and dinner there, very good. They even prepared lunch for us."
