"This was a nice older motel that is being fixed up. Our room was clean with comfortable beds. There was some nice new furniture but some unfinished area so maybe still being renovated. "Impressively maintained old farm house and barns. Given the limitations of the layout, the owners have done a remarkable job of attending to the comfort of their guests. The room was adequate and the bed was very comfortable Sharing a bathroom/shower with other guests was initially somewhat uncomfortable, but we all quickly adopted a routine that met everyone's needs. "Well this was a surprise. We arrived later in the evening and the cabins were kind enough to call and let us know how to access the cabins. When we got there it was very dire, however. it is possible most of the tenants are AT hikers and don't care about accommodations, but that isn't us. It was the first time i 5 years my husband wanted to leave right away and find another place to leave. The bath sink was held up by a radiator due to someone having pulled it off the wall.
