"First room smelled like cigarettes. Second room had a rat running around (it ate some food I had and I got a video of it so I’m sure). Went to reception, showed the video and was given a new room but no help to move, it was 2am. Moved but am quite sure there was a rat in the second room too, heard noises but didn’t see it. "I would not recommend this property except to shoestring travelers. It included no amenities including towels, soap, toilet paper, etc. The Wi-Fi was in the lobby only. The only good thing was the reverse osmosis machine in the lobby so that I didn’t have to buy water and add to plastic pollution."

"Staff super nice and helpful, location is ideal in Miri, bed is comfortable. That said, the hotel shows his age and would need refurbishing urgently, especially the bathrooms. I was assigned a room that I did not like at first, but thankfully they were kind enough to give me a better looking one and it turned out to be quiet and comfortable. "
