"Reception staff very friendly, always with a big smile and helpful. Very clean and spacious. Only setback is you have to go to the 6th floor to collect your hairdryer and flask in order to have hot water for making drinks. Bring own shampoo coz they supply bath foam only."

"Merlin guesthouse was great, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, they checked each day if we wanted our room cleaned. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was a wet room, but kept very clean. Location was good, short walk to many bars/restaurants and the hop on hop off tourist bus had a stop just round the corner. "

"The room was super warm and humid. The windows couldn't shut fully and had incects coming in. The opposite of the property have chickens and dogs that will make noise super early in the morning. There were some lion dance practices till late at night. The room have no poles/hooks to hang stuff. Only have a small row of hooks behind the door. The property wall had tissue paper stuffed in it and multiple defects on the wall. The property has very noisy flooring, I can hear everyone walking...

"To be honest I received the best welcome, it is actually even cleaner than on photos, they gave me a good reception with everything needed in the room : Tooth brush , flip flop for the shower, extra water , tea cup , towel, it was really clean and was smelling super good and also the boss of the hotel is speaking a good english and is really helpfull with his customer.
