We were very disappointed with the room. We felt deceived by what we had been promised and what was delivered. And when we asked about it, they just seemed not to care that it was an anniversary trip and did nothing to make our stay better. Even when we told them we were not happy they did nothing to make us feel better. We certainly will not stay there again. Staying there was a big letdown to end our trip with.

My husband and I stayed at Heritage Hotel Lucia for 2 nights in July 2026. Where do I start... The location was perfect - a very short walk to Pile Gate, but away from all the cruise ship crowds - looking out onto Fort Lovrijenac. The staff genuinely went above and beyond, and the airport transfer was easy and very reasonably priced (the car was literally parked right outside the terminal doors). WIFI was easy with no issues. Breakfast (included) was next level. Fresh pastries and a charcuterie board were on the table before we'd even ordered. Everything is made to order - the french toast and avocado on sourdough were incredible. The fruit platter was so fresh and the salmon rosti was divine. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The finishes and all of the details with the rennovation are quality. Friends told us to stay inside the Old Town walls (as it was our first time in Dubrovnik), but we wanted to be away from the crowds (cruise ship crowds come in around 9/10am until late). We booked Hotel Lucia as it was so close to Old Town but not on top of the crowds. We are so glad we did. It has that personal, boutique feel but with proper 5 star luxury. Another drawcard is Sesame Restaurant - just across the road! If Hotel Lucia has availability for your dates (and works for your budget), don't overthink it. An absolute hidden gem. Being outside the walls isn't even a thought given how close it is. Thank you Hotel Lucia for such a great stay!!!
