Hong Kong SAR Luxury Holidays

I've never been to Hong Kong so didn't know the best location when booking a hotel. I eventually settled on this one as it looked like there were two double beds and a harbour view from the Expedia photos. When we checked it there was just a single double bed and a very small fold out bed for my daughter. We asked about moving rooms, but apparently none of the rooms have two double beds, even though the photos show this. The staff were really helpful when we arrived as I had no cash to pay for the taxi, who wasn't going to take a credit card payment. They paid for it and I paid them on my room account. The rooftop pool was also nice and very quite. I don't think the location is great for a first visit to HK although it's fine. Our harbour view was also not the best, although we did have a great view for a drone show one evening. An OK rating feels a little harsh, as there wasn't anything bad about the hotel, but it was the first of our holiday and probably the worst overall. I'd give it 3.5 stars if that was possible.

Royal garden is a very budget friendly hotel in Tseung Kwan O area. Location is further away if you are a tourist, we have families in the area so we love the location. We had the famiy suite and it was perfect for us, the two teenagers loved their bunkbeds and the queen bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned and the AC worked very well. The staffs all spoke english and provided adequate services.
