I have mobility issues and the resort is perfect to be able to utilise the pool and access the restaurants etc. The staff went above and beyond to be of assistance and I would highly recommend Legian Beach Hotel to anyone.

Our stay at Taman Dhamawangsa Suites was unfortunately just average. Out of the seven properties we stayed at during our Southeast Asia trip, this ranked near the bottom. The biggest drawback was the location. Although the area is quiet, it's far from almost everything. Every beach, restaurant, market, and attraction required a drive, making it inconvenient if you want to explore Bali. Looking back, I wish Expedia had recommended a property in a better location. The villa itself also felt dated. Several pieces of furniture were worn and stained, the towels were old and rough, and our private pool had not been cleaned properly when we arrived. Housekeeping was friendly, but shampoo and other toiletries were not always replenished without asking. Soundproofing was another issue, as we could clearly hear other guests from inside our bedroom, reducing the sense of privacy. One thing that really surprised us was being asked to wait during checkout while staff inspected the room before we could leave. We've stayed at many hotels around the world and had never experienced this before. I understand this is likely hotel policy rather than the staff's decision, but it didn't feel like the luxury experience we expected. On the positive side, the reception team, bell staff, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were all genuinely friendly, welcoming, and hardworking. They deserve recognition. Overall, this property was simply mediocre. We would not stay here again mainly due to location.

We had a wonderful stay at The Balé. What really sets it apart from the larger resorts is the exceptional personalised service. The team genuinely gets to know you and is always one step ahead. Their help with transport, reservations and local arrangements made everything so easy. We loved the spacious villa and private pool, delicious breakfasts and great coffee. A peaceful, personal experience that made our stay feel very special.
