Great hotel with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, with plenty of room to move around and store our luggage. I especially liked the large sofa and movable desk/table, which made the room very practical and comfortable. The free laundry facilities were also a huge plus. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable hotel!

Best location in Shanghai for the Bund and Nanjing Road. Staff are fantastic and helpful. The hotel has a great history and great atmosphere as a result of this history. Highly recommend.

Great area with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Close to three metro stations. Hotel room was big, swimming pool was heated.

The room was really nice and spacious, bed was comfortable, complimentary drinks were a nice touch. I especially liked the complimentary washer-dryers that also had detergent - very helpful! The complimentary espresso machine, fruit, and candy were also nice. I appreciated that I was able to check out at 2 p.m. instead of noon. What could have been better were the lighting and tech set-up in the room. It was difficult to understand and to work the tablet since it wasn't in Enlish. The TV also had no channels in English. The front staff were nice but their fluency in English was quite limited, so there's only so much they could help when I had a couple of questions. I would agree with other reviews that the "luxury" category for this hotel isn't quite right, but it's still a nice hotel to stay at and the subway station is literally a one-minute walk from the hotel. Also inconvenient and a learning for first-timers in mainland China, but the address for the hotel on Google Maps is incorrect, and although the address of the hotel says it's on West Nanjing Road, it's actually on a side street, on the corner of Taixing Road. If you put the address in Didi, they will take you to the right spot.

Wonderful hotel right in the centre. Our room was river facing and up on the 27th floor? And the view was amazing! We did not eat or drink at the hotel but the stay was great. Huge recommend.
