They have two separate buildings. One is very poor no elevator to the other floor rooms were smelly , stayed one night. Move to different hotel. In the shower, I was almost touching my head to the ceiling in shower and showerhead Height was little below my chest Can’t go higher than that.

Absolutely loved my stay. I wish it was longer. The staff were very helpful! The area is in a pretty busy part of Phuket a lot of restaurants, and nightlife just around the corner. The beach is also just a very short walk from the hotel. If you can order the poolside breakfast it was so delicious and so much food. The restaurant has great food, and the room service was quick! There are a couple of night markets within walking distance, and lots of shopping. There is a spa on site as well, and the entire massage experience on my last day was something I will remember for a long while. Highly recommend and I will definitely stay here again if I am in the Phuket area.

My third time being at Chanalai. Love it. My preference foe perfect location to Kata Beach

Clean room nice staff.

It’s a beach room with many tiny creatures available for kids to see, they arrange two sessions of animal feedings which children love. But the pool is very poor condition with broken tiles etc.

We had amazing time here

This was the worse hotel I have ever checked in. We got there at 12pm and I asked if I could upgrade and the staff did not make any offers or efforts. Then once the room was ready we found the facility a bit old and not update but that part is still ok. The elevator smelled like mold and old room. There was not a bed frame but a bunch of “ply wood” put together as a bed frame. Most hotel sheets are white this one was bege looking not so clean. We went on an evening tour and when we got back around 10 pm my daughter showered and went to bed when she pull the sheets a cockroach came out of the sheets, she climbed on the bed and soon after another one started to run around the room. I called front desk who took 10 min to come and the guy looked at me like it was nothing. We immediately packed and left the hotel and never looked back. The hotel management did not contact me to apologize or nothing also they refused my refund.
