Overall, I had a good stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — the subway/train station entrance is only about a 1-minute walk away, which made travelling very convenient. There are also many restaurants, shops, and convenience stores nearby, most of them less than a minute away on foot. The hotel staff at reception were able to speak English, so communication was easy, and most of them were friendly and helpful. Customer service overall was good, although two female receptionists were less friendly. There is also a coin laundry on Level 2, which was very convenient for washing clothes during the trip. However, there are only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, and many guests use them, so you need to plan your laundry time properly. Overall, the hotel location and convenience were definitely the highlights of the stay, and I would consider staying here again.

This hotel is in the heart of Myeoungdong, close to everything but pretty dated. Nice view of Namsan tower but the window needed a cleaning and the room smelled weird. Everything was outdated and needed a fresh renovation. Big plus was the brunch downstairs. Food was really good with many options and the price was exceptionally good. The entrance to the hotel was a mess with picketers when we stayed there a big eye sore. I probably wouldn’t stay there again since there are so many options nearby at this price point.

I was very happy to see that I could check in several hours earlier when I arrived. Was also given an hour later check out. Chose this hotel as it is near the airport did not expect all the wonderful restaurants, amenities of hotel and seaside restaurants. The room opened very nicely for a view of the ocean. When I arrive, the room was quite warm and I was told there’s no air conditioning at this time of the season to open my window and let the wind come in. it’s certainly helped. Night for sleeping with window open was very comfortable. I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a beach experience in 20 minute ride to the terminal two airport. Receptionist was very kind accommodating spoke English very well.

Awesome suites. We had a room with two king size beds and a separate living/kitchen room. Very large for Asian standards. Amazing location in the center of everything in Seoul!

Good amenities, have washer and dryer in the room

we had the most relaxing end to our 3week holiday in Korea with the last 4 days staying at Douglas house. we were taken good care of by all the staff in particular the dinner staff and breakfast staff. Although the language barrier was a little challenging, they did their best to assist us. Lovely grounds to walk around, there is so much to see and do within the Ealkerhill complex. Thank you all and we would gladly come back again and also highly recommend anyone wanting to stay here

The room was spacious for my mom and I who had 4 suitcases. Front desk team were friendly and helpful. Unlike their host at the restaurant who didn’t seem to understand English properly when I asked twice when will the cafe area be available after the booked event. She didn’t seem to understand what I was asking which she had to use her phone to translate which again was the same answer as her verbal response

Noisy. Both outside and inside. The property is well located near the metro station. The breakfast area was big, the food had variety but the chef forgets the order. Also a bit chaotic with only one elevator working. I won't use here again.
