It was great, stayed for several nights. Right in all the action of times square!

It’s been a long time since I’ve visited New York, so maybe my expectations were unrealistic. The Renwick is exceptionally close to GCS, so it made getting on the subway and Metro North easy. This hotel also offered additional services that I was happy to pay for since the stay would better accommodate my schedule. However, nothing about the stay really gave 4-star vibes. Luckily, I only needed the room to sleep and shower in, but I would hesitate to spend any additional time in it. Pros: - Proximity to GCS - I appreciated the ability to pay for extra early check in and extra late checkout, I’ve never seen those services before and they helped make the stay much more enjoyable Cons: - cleanliness deserves a 0/5. The room was incredibly dusty, the sheets were not even fitted on the bed and there were brown stains underneath, and there was hair in the tub/sink plus the walls were covered in water stains from what looked like multiple stays. - the room I booked was very old. Everything from the fixtures, to the desk, to the gross cloth covered chair, were extremely old and worn - lots of dead mosquitoes in the room near the windows. - booked late check out, but paperwork said regular checkout, and had to get the staff to reprogram my key after it got disabled.
