This hotel was great to stay at and in a quiet area. Good location, as close to the tram, however it was a nice place to walk around with good coffee/food nearby. Staff were friendly and check-in/check-out was easy. The room was good and the bed was comfortable.

Great hotel

Cozy hotel, great for traveling solo. The furniture, sheets and appliances were new. Everything was working well. Really enjoyed it.

A surprisingly great hotel with plenty of temporary parking in the front. Many choices of bakeries and mini shopping centres around as it is located metres away from many efficient and frequent public transport routes, notably route 2 and 3

Good and well located

a short stay for business meetings. The location is good with many shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast and Wifi were good. The heating in the room and in the shower was not warm enough.

Wonderful helpful staff. Very helpful with getting around. Perfect location for transit. Cleanliness at the hotel was meticulous. Couldn't fault anything. Will always be on my return visits.

Good location. 10 minutes by tram to the center. Evening staff at front desk very polite and helpful. Morning staff not helpful and had an attitude.

The property is close to the tram which will take you to the old city. The problem was the room was advertised as two double beds and it was two twin beds pushed together

Just at the corner of the tram and bus intersection. Restaurants just next to or walking distance. Clean and people are nice with free drink. The shower water is a little weak, the drainage a little slow, and the sink a little slippery. The room is not too big. Well, in general, it works and meet my need of one night stay.

Unfriendly staff and small rooms, what else can you expect from Zurich, cold weather and cold people..... overall the room was okay, the location is good, if you want to stay a few stations away from HBF and old town. Nothing else to write about in this hotel. Staff was as unhelpful/unwelcoming and as cold as they could be, rooms were decent sized and clean. supermarkets nearby....

I was first given a single room. Later at night when I found water problem (weather wouldn’t go down in the shower) When hotel staff couldn’t solve the weather problem they helped me change to a bigger and better room. I was happy.

The staff is nice. But the hotel itself is a catastrophy. First room had a lot of noise from AC and street. Second room given was quiet but AC was not working. Rooms are obsolete, you can hear everything from the corridor, equipments are old, dirty and nothing is renovated. I'm disappointed it is called Mercure, which is normally synonym of quality.

Rooms are pretty small. It is an old hotel. Still using metal keys with heavy key chains. You know the ones for restrooms of gas stations. May be it is so we dont lose them? Bed is surrounded by walls and can only get off from one side. Shower had low pressure. Sink was obstructed by ledge so hard to use. Location is pretty good and its clean so tolerable. Staff are not very cordial. They dont greet and if you greet them some responds and others dont. They just look at you. Just good for sleep and get out.
