Lovely stay but bad episode with repairman
Overall the stay was great but I give a 3-star due to the repairman came knocking my door and while he couldn’t hear me asking who is it, he proceeded to open the door with a master key card thinking the guests were not in the room. I was so shock that I pushed the door back and he backed off. Then I opened the door with him saying he was trying to look for a small item while showing me the picture in his handphone. I told him it’s wrong for anyone to enter the room without the guest presence except for cleaning service which I have already stated no cleaning service required a day before. He insisted that I didn’t put on the DND sign and wasn’t apologetic at all. I went to the receptionist immediately to provide my feedback and she apologized profusely while the repairman was there & again defended his act. Does the hotel allow staff that has the master key to enter guest room anytime just to look for their missing item? What if my belongings are missing? It was a shocking episode & please relook into the protocol with the repairman. I have already stayed a night there prior the repairman came and even if the staff wants to look for a missing item, this has to be done with the presence of the guest and NOT entering the guest room without permission. Thank you and I really love staying at this hotel, it has little gesture like the welcome kambly cookies, clean & comfortable room, & the wine reward for room not requiring c/service which is a great move for sustainability
